easyJet has announced that it will be launching four new routes from London Gatwick Airport, giving travellers an even greater choice of popular destinations in Croatia, Cyprus, Italy and Greece.


easyJet has announced the launch of its new online foreign exchange service, offering travellers’ easy access to the widest range of foreign currencies available from any UK airline, combined with the convenience of next day home delivery.


easyJet has announced that it is opening a new route from East Midlands to Nice, giving the region’s travellers an even greater choice of destinations from their local airport. The three times weekly service (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) to the South of France, will commence on 2 April 2009. Fares will be at a credit crunch busting £22.99 one way.


easyJet has released its summer 2009 schedule from London Gatwick Airport. Destinations include the ever popular hotspots of Alicante, Malaga and Faro along with many exciting cities such as Edinburgh, Barcelona and Helsinki. Fares will be starting at a credit crunch busting £27.99 including tax.

As a result of ongoing travel disruption of Eurotunnel services easyJet has added further flights to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) from London Luton this week.


easyJet has unveiled plans to reduce its point of sale (POS) fee on bookings made through Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and other approved third party distribution channels connected to its Application Programming Interface (API). The fee, which has up to now been based on a variable fee of up to £5 (€7.50) per seat (depending on the number of seats booked), will now be set at a fixed fee of £3.30 (€4) per seat.


easyJet has announced another new route from London Gatwick to Istanbul. The new daily route will launch on 12 December 2008, with fares from £35.99 one way (£58.98 return) including tax. This new route to Istanbul brings the total number of routes from Gatwick to 51 this winter and the airline expects over 100,000 passengers to travel on the new service in the first 12 months.
