On the sunny Costa del Sol between Sotogrande and Marbella is the lively marina of Puerto de la Duquesa. With a view from our terrace of all the activity in the harbour is the small but popular bar called 'Hemingways'.
This is for sale freehold with all the fixtures and fittings and stock ready to trade. This includes memorabilia relating to the writer Ernest Hemingway.
The bar is currently being easily and successfully managed by two of us. We open at 6pm six evenings a week and close when we want basically! Obviously you can open when it suits you best.
The trade is mainly UK property holders and regular visitors and makes us a living all year round. The peak trading time is Easter to June and September to November. We have all the figures to show.
The only outgoings that have to be paid once the freehold is owned are community tax at 232 euros per annum and electricity and water.
This is a successful business which we have enjoyed running. We are only selling because it's time for us to move on to another experience in a different country.
